Total scam! Do not call these fools back!! Block their number!
Left voice mail saying it was urgent call and to call back from the that came up from called ID. Suggested how urgent it was!
A guy answered and he said I owed Check N Go something. That if I didn’t pay it was considered theft and he had paperwork. I asked for the copy of paperwork and didn’t want to give to me. I called Check N Go directly and they said I owe NOTHING. I let them know about the call being done on their behalf. This is a scam. Never pay like this. They try to intimidate you over the phone.
They say they are a mediator and not a collection company. Refuse to send paperwork and want a payment over the phone. When asked for proof of what they are talking about they hung up. When talking to them, their side breaks up and can barely hear what they want. Thru can hear you well but, their phone line breaks up like on purpose to not find a voice pattern.
Not sure who they are as they did not leave a message, the caller ID says "Benhmark" From Danville IL.
